Hello,

We are going to be changing our domain soon and i was wondering if i need to do something after we do change the domain. I was thinking about the first ticket we had when we bought the product. It was something about a domain registration or licensed domain or something. Oh and i was planning on revamping our board entirely. Deleting the old board and starting a new one.
Any help would be great. I wouldn't want our board to be called a nulled board or a pirated copy.

Note: First board is still intact. Any valuable info i need to save?

If you want to start the board from scratch on the new domain then do a backup of your old board (in case you want to check it later) and then delete every file DB table from the server.

After you're done install your board on the new domain, update the domain inside your IPS customer account @ IPS site and you're done :)

Hello,

You should do a DB backup as well, in case you need something...

I asked an IPS staff member and he said i'd have to "make a ticket" in order to update my board's URL. I just thought there was an option where you can just change it immediately. xD

Anyways question answered. And ill back my DB up like you guys said.

I recall there was a way to quickly change the domain assigned to an IP.Board package but maybe they changed it if they say to open a Ticket xD

I'm glad you found the needed answers anyway
