question #1
So this mod works flawlessly on 3.1.2?
and question #2
Can terabyte introduce another setting (which is less difficult to implement IMHO than in the previous post) - to add a choice of groups which can bump topics non-stop if they like - the time limit does not apply to them (for me as an admin I hope to see this function).
I remember this setting being in IPB 2.3.x series of a similar mod.

It's fixed for the next version, I'm working on several upgrades and I'll release them soon

Definitely I'm not going to include any limit on the number of bumps per member/group. I might consider the number of bumps per day/per group however.

I don't think I'll add a portal option honestly, even more now that IP.Portal is being removed from IPB 3.2.

Any news for the mod?
By the way it would be awesome to have a setting based on groups to allow (or not) to bump topics not only for its author but also for the last person who posted in the topic. When topic authors loose interest in the thread it does not mean that other did too.

Only recently I've noticed, that the hook doesn't work for subforums - no "bump" button.

Tera. Thanks for following up on this hook. It's a great tool for it's intended purpose.
I run a BST section (classifies) on my forum and need some way to modify this hook. On our site we allow members to bump every 12 hours (twice a day) regardless of last reply. Is there some way I can edit this hook to allow the clock to count down from the original post (topic post) and not the last post by the author?
If so where and what do I edit. I appreciate any help you can give me.

The check is done on the last_post date, to do what you need it would require to change the whole hook to add a new column in the table to save the last bump time. It can't be done with just some simple edits in the code unfortunately, if you really need it we can discuss about a custom mod but right now the upgrades for 3.2 are taking all my time so you'd have to wait for a while..

There is a new version that already works on IPB 3.2: http://community.invisionbyte.net/files/file/245-tb-bump-up-topics/
