This mod allow selected groups to see which browser an active user is using to navigate the board.

Features:

• Select which groups are allowed to view the browser image
  
• Option to display the image before or after the member name

Supported Browsers:

• This mod by default supports all the included browsers in IP.Board, if you have added more browsers (User Agents) but the images are missing you will need to upload your own images inside the folder public/style_extra/downloads_traffic_images/.
  
• For your own browser images to be displayed properly you need to use a PNG image and the name needs to be written in the following way: browser_ACP-USER-AGENT-KEY.png.

Hi,

I cannot find this in boards.php the first file edit

if ( ! $this->settings['disable_anonymous'] AND $result['login_type'] )

This is in IPB 3.1.2

Firstly this is a great little mod. But I seem to be having problems.


Find: member_group, uagent_type - Mine ends with a comma.


Add After: , uagent_key - Obviously I had to remove the comma here but I had to add one after the text in order for it to work without an error.


The first edit in the other 2 files were similar.




Now the mod is working but, I can only see my own browser, all others show a question mark?

It seems the support for some free IPB mods is lacking, I don't mind spending $5 - $20 on mods if I get some sort of support! A lot of IPB mod sites offer 2 day suppose etc.

to answer your question, do exactly as it says...

Find:

member_group, uagent_type

Add After:

,uagent_key

This is what you it will look like

member_group, uagent_type, uagent_key

Mine actually looks like this: member_group, uagent_type,


I'm simply noting that mine looks different to the instructions. Also, if I don't end the instruction with a comma I get an error.

Yes ok. I remember .. I think.

you have to add the code right after uagent_type before the comma

I already replied to this on IPS, however, the correct code to find in IPB 3.1.2 now should be this:

Nope! All installed correctly but still showing just a question mark for other members browsers.
I'm running 3.1.1

I can often see two members online with the ? icon, so your saying they all have question mark ?

If you did all the mods correct I cannot really help any further and terabyte would have to step in
