(TB) Tickets System

Hi terabyte. This is an awesome addition to our forums.
I'm having problems though, I'm getting his error whenever I try to post a new ticket:

May I know what I can do to fix this error? Btw, I had a previous installation of Tickets System, I deleted the files and then installed the old version. Maybe that caused the problem? Thank you.

I'm willing to provide necessary admin / FTP details, if needed, as I'm not familiar with these technical stuff.

For anyone else having this issue the problem is that the function used in the Tickets System was added in IP.Board 3.2.3 so it won't work on previous IPB versions.

It's working on my board now, thanks to Terabyte. I have another question though, is it possible to send notification when a new ticket is created in the department you are assigned to?

When editing a staff in the ACP you can setup if they get emails or not:

And then they also need to have the notification option checked in their control panel:

You can setup the default notifications for your members in "ACP > Members TAB > Members > Notification Defaults" too to have those enabled by default.

It should work fine as far as I know, there are a few minor issues which I want to get fixed in the next beta though.

Great mod! I'm still exploring it, but I was wondering if there was a way to change "Tickets System" to "Helpdesk"? I tried looking in the Languages area in the ACP, but there doesn't seem to be anything relevant to changing the name of the mod itself so that it displays "Helpdesk" everywhere (ex. in the Page Title of the browser window).

Hi! Been quite some time since anything was said in this thread, so I'm hoping I could still get some help. :unsure:

I was unable to delete the department that came with the app, Generic Department. Figured it was just built in, so I hid it and made a new one. But changed my mind and decided it best to delete the new one I just made. Same error.


System Error
[#2100] Security Mismatch - please go back and reload the form before attempting to submit the form / press the button again




I could always edit the names, and/or keep adding new ones, but the neat freak in me is bothered by not having delete control over them. :ups:

I've had quite a lot going on in the past months so I wasn't indeed much online.


Back to your question the "(TB) Tickets System" application is NOT compatible with IP.Board 3.4.x but I just noticed that the first post somehow is missing that data so I went ahead and edited it just now. As I have already said a few times in other topics (even over at the IPS forum) at this time I have no plans to update the application, I initially coded it in the past to handle all my custom work but since then IP.Nexus was coded and I myself switched to use it.

I might reconsider updating this application for 4.0 if it's not too much trouble but for now I have more important things to focus on unfortunately.

You need to edit the application public title in the ACP.
